The New Balance x Undefeated “Desert Storm” 1500 is a collaborative project that brings historical context to footwear and design. Undefeated has always been a military and sport-inspired brand, with efforts to not only provide authenticity to projects, but to also inform the public of the often overlooked and understated aspects of design. The sneakers will be available exclusively through Undefeated US & Japan and through select premium retailers internationally. Retail is set at $120 USD, with each pair boasting a canvas shoe bag featuring a utility camo print. A release is set for May 1st, 2010.

For Spring/Summer 2010 FUCT continues its official David Mann-licensed painting designs. This season, Mann’s “Prison Release” and “Surfer Girl” are on the block. As far back as the late 1960’s early 70’s American icon David Mann is world renowned for his legendary artwork in Easy Rider Magazine. As a life long rider himself, many consider Mann to be the epitome of the biker artist. Mann’s paintings depicted the outlaw against surreal backgrounds, distorted skylines and colorful images that celebrated the chopper motorcycle as well as the freedom of the open road. Two designs below will be released this week, including “Prison Release” and “Surfer Girl”, available through select retailers, including Union Los Angeles.
