Japanese brand Mackdaddy presents their new Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. Compared to previous offerings the line seems a little more toned down, at least in terms of colors. The line features some interesting outerwear and lots of attention to detail on their pieces.

In the third part of their “Kirimomi Project”, Japan’s Mita Sneakers and Asics presents a new colorway of the Gel Lyte 3. The sneaker comes this time in all black, featuring a tonal leopard pattern on the upper, with the only color being placed on the in-sole. The sneaker officially releases from Mita Sneakers October 2nd.

Supra and Kr3w worked on “The Franchise” Collection for Fall 2010. As part of the collection they present the collaborative Vaider high top sneaker.

Here’s an interesting new UK label called Private White V.C.
The label has a great pedigree for two reasons: firstly, it’s made by the guys whose factory manufactures jackets & other garments for Albam etc, and is designed by the son of Laura Ashley. And secondly, the collection is all based on the life and wardrobe of the owner’s great-grandfather, who preceded him in the coat-making business after being awarded the Victoria Cross medal for bravery in World War I (hence the “V.C.” in the name). The collection is entirely produced in the same Manchester factory where the owner’s great-grandfather began his clothes-making career, and it’s been a family business since then.
Have a look through the collection. We’re sure you’ll find something you like. The camel duffle coat above is one of our favorites.

After already having worked with Nike , Converse, Puma and adidas Originals, they now present The Estates Pack, a double collaboration with Balance on their 577 sneaker. The running shoe comes in two colorways, using a mix of premium materials. Each colorway will be limited to 250 pairs and will release on October 2nd.

As usual Mr. Fieg understands well putting his latest designs into the right light. In this case he got Linette Torres to model the new collaboration with sneaker blog NiceKicks on the Gel Lyte 3 by Asics. After a red colorway the first time around, they have chosen to go with a more subtle light grey this time. The sneaker releases October 1st.

Freshjive have just unveiled their collection for the Fall. Since Spring, founder Rick Klotz opted to remove any sort of branding from his collections and replace it with a black box. Although some could argue that placing a black box surrounded by a white frame on visible areas of a particular garment (ie. left chest, left hip) would count for just as much branding as using a regular logo that spells out Freshjive, we’ll leave it up to you to make up your own opinion on Klotz’s ‘revolutionary’ move.
