Crooks & Castles recently celebrated an expansion of their popular clothing label with another retail space, this time in the beautiful Aloha state. Bringing over the brand’s signature style to the islands, the opening of Crooks & Castles Hawaii marks yet another key chapter in the Crooks story, which has steadily grown throughout the past handful of years. A closer look at the 10th anniversary of retailer double-park, respected Hong Kong street label Fingercroxx link up with Michael Lau on another collaborative release, following up their previous project back in 2007. Dubbed TOOBIGFOOT, the figure, designed by Lau, obviously ties in with the big foot aesthetic, featured here in a limited edition grey colorway that will be limited to only 499 units. The figure also comes with a special stackable tree trunk box, highlighting the brand logos on the backside. A release for the figure is set for this Saturday, September 11th at EX.I.T. in Causeway Bay.

Supra drop a selection of new colorways for Fall 2010 in the brand’s newer Bandit silhouette. The signature shoes of Tom Penny, the Bandit receives four different colorways, all taking on a mix of suede/canvas and leather/canvas uppers. This fall adidas will relaunch their famous EQT running shoe. As a kickoff to the sneaker’s return, Berlin’s Solebox worked on some exclusive make ups that are previewed on the cover of Sneaker Freaker 19 (available for pre-order here). Representing the “THEN” side of things, these EQTs clock in as half of Solebox’s forthcoming “NOW & THEN” pack. Stay tuned for a closer look.

This weekend, prolific social commentator and artist Ron English will open his new exhibition the New York City chapter of Opera Gallery. The event will include not only an exhibtion of art but also the debut of all new toys in association with Hong Kong toy-makers Garageworks Industries. In all, over 100 new works will hit the stage including The Circus of Subvertisement, The Memorial to Toy Soliders, Camo Clowns, Camo Deer and an Authentic Unicorn. The show opens on September 12th (3pm).

After re-introducing the Chronospace earlier this year, Brietling follow-up on the summer release with a new limited edition Jet Team model. Created in part with the inspirations of Brietling’s L-39 Albatros Jet Team, the watch attempts to capture the essence of aerobatics team which often reach speeds of nearing 700 km/h. The watch features a stainless steel 48mm case with AR-coated sapphire crystals. Movement comes courtesy of Brietling’s Caliber 78 and SuperQuartz with features including a chronograph, alarm, countdown timer and dual timezone display among other features. The watch also includes a steel Aero Classic bracelet. The Brietling Chronospace Jet Team will carry a limited edition run of only 1,000 pieces.

Back in 2007 famed toy designer Michael Lau and Hong Kong label Fingercroxx aligned with XLarge and Maharishi on a crossover project dubbed “XLAUGH.” For 2010, the two entities went back to the lab for the toy you see above. The ape-like character is previewed in two colors (the second of which is very Maharishi, suggesting their involvement once again.) There’s also a shot of Wallace from Fingercroxx holding the figure atop a Nike box. And we all know Michael Lau is no stranger to Nike collabs. Stay tuned..

Huf released the first delivery of their Fall collection. The new range consists of several new graphic t-shirts, as well as an expanding cut and sew line that includes field jackets, pea coats, plaid shirts, oxfords, zip hoodies, and more. The Hundreds launched their latest retail location this past weekend in New York City. Joining previous locations in San Francisco and Los Angeles, the NYC location is located at 96 Grand Street. An opening day video offers a visual into the day’s events as well as the store’s interior which featured a mix of first day attendees. The opening of the store was marked by several collaborations and exclusives including SSUR and photographer Craigh Wetherby.

Jordan Brand is set to release another hybrid; thankfully however, it is not a Fusion. They’ve combined the simplicity of the Air Max 1 with the iconic silhouette of the Air Jordan XI. Surprisingly, it is not a major fail (as is every single Fusion ever produced), but the two models work quite well together. The sneaker is set to hit retailers in two colourways (blue/white, and red/white) on September 4th
