Arguably the best 2011 release from Nike SB thus far, its “Statue of Liberty” Dunk High begins to hit accounts stateside. Aside from a nice leather colorway, the most hyped element of the sneaker is its ability to shed an outer layer of paint, leaving an old oxidized finish that mimics that of New York’s iconic landmark. For Spring/Summer 2011, Vans is releasing the Vault 106 LX. Maintaining its signature vulcanized rubber sole, this updated model features tonal stitching and a contrasting sole. The Vault 106 LX is available in khaki suede as well as a premium leather version in red and navy colorways and should be available through select Vans accounts on June 1.

One of the first models ever manufactured by the label, the SC41947 is inspired by the year 1947, an era where straight cut fits were most popular, not slim cut as some people commonly believe. The high waist style features original rivets that were returned after the World War and currently comes in an indigo wash.
