For Spring/Summer 2010 Supreme worked with Robert Crumb on a series of product. The line-up includes a t-shirt, 5-panel caps, as well as a collaboration with Porter from Japan on a wallet and a pencil case, both coming in three colorways.

Independent Fabrications X Bodega X BaileyWorks from Quarter Productions on Vimeo.

Independent Fabrications out of New England and renowned bag makers Bailey Works. Out of the collaboration came a special project which consisted of 3 custom bikes (fixi, drop down cruiser, and swing back cruiser) with three different bags to match, alongside a series of t-shirts. Only 15 bikes in each style were built, each individually numbered with paint schemes based off vintage spray paint colors, synonymous through 80s graffiti culture. Featured is a video that dives into the project, courtesy of the folks at High Snobiety.

Converse’s rightful return to the world of skateboarding is solidified this spring with the refocused Converse Skate Collection. The Spring 2010 season features two new styles in the lineup with the introduction of the Sea Star and CVO. Both silhouettes are taken straight from the Converse archives and give new skate functionality both inside and out. The Converse Skate Collection offers uncompromised, well-crafted skate footwear to the masses and legitimizes Converse as a brand long comfortable on a board.

Hardridge—French bootmaking brand and official footwear manufacturer of the French Air Force—has teamed up with colette to launch a new boot project. Committed to excellence with a range of high quality designs, Hardrige went to work on this new pair, based on military fly-boots used in the French Army, designed by “L’ecurie” and “sneakerised”. The leather work complies with genuine military specifications with all of the hand work done in France. An exclusive launch will be taking place at colette tomorrow January 26th, 2010.

You have to love Redbull and all the crazy stuff they like to get into. Redbull is really buggin with this one. Not content to risk life and limb of their terrestrial athletes, they are taking their next stunt to space, or at least to the edge of it. Professional lunatic Felix Baumgartner is going to take a solo balloon up 120,000 feet so that he can freefall down at supersonic speed in the hopes that he will break the record for highest freefall set by Airforce pilot Joe Kittinger in 1960. Now that is some gnarly shit.

I still have yet to pick up a Stadium Jacket this year, and I am trying to make it my goal to pick up this sick new jacket from Subcrew. Debut of the Sub diffusion line, a new collection from Hong Kong-based streetwear label Subcrew. Going forward, the Sub line is marked a penchant for higher-quality materials and construction as well as a more minimalistic aesthetic. In addition to availability at UNITY flagship store and online, the jacket will also see a Japan-only release at DECADE in Tokyo’s Shibuya ward.

Kaws latest vinyl figure sees the renowned artist align with Masamichi Katayam and his architecture firm Wonderwall. The toy, based on a previously released t-shirt, comes in two versions – black/grey/yellow and red/grey/black – and measures in at 22cm tall. Look for these to drop sometime in February 2010.

In a distinct progression of the brand, OriginalFake’s 2010 spring/summer collection marks the KAWS and MEDICOM TOY headed brand’s most mature capsule to date. While the brand doesn’t step completely away from visual elements, the use of tie-dyed elements on sweaters and shirts go together with more understated pieces. The collection also includes a broader variety of button-ups and collared shirts than previous seasons.

As one of Supra’s most understated designs, the Jim Greco signature Thunder will see the release of the following five styles. In keeping with this season’s tonal theme, each of the five new colorways features a monotone upper. The Black Canvas and Black Suede versions are carried over from past seasons while the three other versions, Burgundy Suede, TUF White and Grey Canvas are new for 2010 spring.

Fuct’s Spring/Summer SSDD collection, titled Erebus (a reference from Greek mythology), the collection features a custom Navajo fabric, which can be seen on the BDU Army trousers as well as the Medicine Crow and Geronimo button up shirts. The military and war continue to play a big role on the collection, which consists of shirts, t-shirts, jackets, pants, and fedoras.
