A couple of months ago Ben and Mike from StanceWorks were talking to me about designing the perfect suspension dedicated for slammed cars. To my surprise they wanted me to test out their prototype coilovers for the Z/Gs. So fast forward past all the designing faze to today when I got a nice little package in the mail.

A collaboration between StanceWorks x AST Suspension brings to you ZeroGround Clearance. I am so excited to put these through the test. They will see some track time come LSB in May and also some road travel as while. Look out for my full right up on these and were you can buy.
This is one giant steep for any car that wants the perfect rider while riding dumped...

Well this past weekend and these following days, I have been helping out my buddy Eric with his new wheel set up.. He got a set of Equips in the sick sizes of F18x10-3 and R18x12-3. Instead of leaving them just polished he decided to go a different route..

So he went with flat black centers and a copper lip, which pops on his blacked out car...

Look at those babies awaiting some rubber to be wrapped around them...

Dialing in Suspension today and now working on the fronts...
More to come later...

I am so ready for this new Tron movie. I remember watching the old Tron movie when I was younger and wanted so bad to jump inside a video game. From the looks of the trailer it seems that the new Tron is going to blow out the old movie. But I will let you guys be the judge of that..

Apple recently just unveiled their new iPad, and it was just a matter of time before they came out with a big ass touch screen. I really like were this is heading and I can't wait till them make a full touch screen desk top.. More info below..
The high-resolution, 9.7 inch LED-backlit, IPS display on iPad is remarkably crisp and vivid. Which makes it perfect for web browsing, watching movies, or showing off photos. The screen is 9.7 inches, measured diagonally. So overall, it’s slightly smaller than a magazine. And at just 1.5 lbs and 0.5 inches thin,1 it’s easy to carry and use anywhere. You can use iPad for up to 10 hours while surfing the web on Wi-Fi, watching videos, or listening to music.

3G: 16gb-$629 32gb-$729 64gb-$829

So as 2009 comes to an end, I look back at how bless PW and I have been. First I finally finished my car (I know its about time) and it received so much love it blew my mind. Next I get posted on SpeedHunters, HellaFlush and again on SpeedHunters but as a full feature. These things alone just made my year. Then I became an official blogger for StanceWorks (which I will touch on that on a later post), which I'm so honored to be apart of.
As for Purple Wall, we have grown so much. We still don't have any vendors that will change in 2010 I promise you that. But I can tell that you guys out there are following us due to our ranking on Alexa. Alexa is an online database that ranks every website that has a domain name. Out of the 182million websites out there Purple Wall is ranked 665,722, I'm so proud that you guys care to even tune in and watch..
So for 2010 expect more from Purple Wall and hopefully push us up the rankings as a top website to watch. So tell your mom, dad, sister and friends to click on Purple Wall once a day....lol I think that will help us..

I must say I love seeing where google goes next on their headings. Every time I search on Google it's like Christmas day for the very first time. Like opening a present and shocked with joy knowing that you just received the best present of your life. That is how I feel every time I click on Google, not knowing what they are going to hit me with next, and I must say this Popeye illustration just put the icing on the cake for me. Way to go Google you just made my day..

Last month I made a trip out to L.A. for some business and pleasure you might say. Took the Ol'Lady to L.A. cause she loves it so and I needed to cover the HellaFlush III event, I would say that is a win, win in my book.

First stop on my trip has to be Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. This has to be the best combo that has ever hit a plate. Serious you have fried chicken which Roscoe's does that proper and has to be the best I have tasted in a long time and then you throw some Waffles in the mix to top everything off right. I miss you already Roscoe's

Next stop was Calabasas CA. This place is pretty nice, it has that upscale vibe. As we were walking around I came across these dogs that were just seating at a table like they had scheduled a lunch date. No master in sight, a few minutes later he comes out and says "you want to see some tricks?" too funny..

This theater had such a 50's vibe that I just had to snap a pic. Was hoping that they were showing '12 Angry Men or Singin' in the Rain'

We stubbled in to this bakery called 'Crumbs' which I think is the most creative name for a bakery.

Cupcakes are what's on the menu at Crumbs, and I could not be more happier with the selection...

We each picked one of our favorites and went to town...My weapon of choice is cookie dough...

My wife lookn fresh to def...

Our lovely friend Pina joined us on our trip to L.A...Ka-chow!

When we are in L.A. we always find our self on either Melrose, Fairfax or Hollywood. I just love the real world in your face vibe on Hollywood..

Love this pic reminds me of the 1960's Batman show

Well tell next time L.A. I will have sweet dreams about your lovely lights... See you in January..

Last week SpeedHunters contacted me about a feature on my car and wanted to set something up doing their meet. "Hell Yea!" was the answer I gave them as I am a big fan of SpeedHunters and Rod Chongs work. You can say they made my year. So here we are plotting out our route and having a quick meeting before we head out..

Along with Rod Chong, another SpeedHunters member joined us for the occasion. Everyone should know him as Nguyen Linhbergh. He is the guy shooting my trunk, he loved my traveling setup with wood blocks to get the car high enough for my jack, a most have for slammed cars...

If you have not seen this car already then you most have been living under a rock. This is the Top Secret G37, and man does it have balls. The owner is John host of Access Zero number 42 and owner of Planet Zero Anime Center in Houston.

The man him self Rod Chong, what can I say about this guy that has not been said already. Great guy all around, he knows a thing or two about cars and it shows through is videos and photography. He is the mastermind behind SpeedHunters and it was a true honor to meet him and chat it up a bet.

Weapon of choice is this "Canon"

He has such an eye for bringing out the best in a car, we found this lovely spot that had 18-wheelers, gravel road and steel all over the place. All I could do is sit back and watch in amazement as Rod did his thing. You will have to wait for the feature to drop in November, as SpeedHunters.com has dedicated that month to Slammed cars. Thank you Rod Chong and Linhbergh for an awesome time and hope we can do it again some time.

A couple of other cars were being shoot for features as well. This lovely G35 Sedan is the sexiest thing on the road here in Houston. Wouldn't be a bad daily driver..

Can you say "Uuuu Siickk!!"
Everyone go check out SpeedHunters.com for coverage on any thing car related around the world..

A couple of weeks ago I set up a photoshoot for my car with Jun, a photographer in Dallas TX. I arrived in Dallas around 5:30 am and was schedule for shooting around 7:00 am, the shot lasted till 5pm. The shoot was right before Stance of the Union so there was no sleep for me.

We shot mainly around downtown Dallas, and let me tell you it was the scariest ride of my life. Reason being the roads are not friendly to slammed cars. Angry business men honking their horns at me cause I was traveling at an amazing speed of 5mph..

Look for shots to hit the site in a couple of days also look for them on the front page of Stanceworks.com as they are going to feature my car... I would like to thank Jun for an awesome time and learned allot from watching you.
Oh did I mention that Jun is stating up his own line called Authentic.. A dope line I must add. You can check him out on his blog here J.LU Photography
