Well last weekend we were in Houston for Import Reactor, and stumbled on to TX2K11. I for one did not know it was going on that weekend, so I was stoked we got a chance to partake..

Are first stop was at the Omni hotel were most of the TX2K11 people where staying. And man was it packed out there, nothing but supras, vipers, Ford GTs and the list goes on.

So tonight was SarapBuhay The Good Life 'Meet and I freakn arrived to late.. Before I got there, it was said that over 200+ cars showed up, and I believe it. Well hear are my short pics....lol

So this past weekend Eric and I went to Import Rector/Anime Matsuri. Now last year was a blast, words could not even describe what went on. This year IR/AM was not up to par as last years, but was great hooking up with old friends..

 

This year they held the show at a new location, which was right next to the Texas Rodeo... I hate you traffic, just saying.

Protesters saying what they have to say..

PowerLab had a strong presence at the show, and when I mean strong I mean HP wise..

This G35 is pushing out 700whp and 565wtq on a fully built 3.6L (non-stroked) VQ35.. Yup crazy!!

Not even going to talke about how sick this Z is..

I spy I sexy S2K..

And has the power to back it up too..

What do we have hear? Our good friend Linhbergh representing SpeedHunters.. We will see him later at TX Mile.

Last week Eric, Shawn and I made a quick visit to our friends at UpRev. If you don't know about UpRev please visit their site to gain an understanding on what they are about.  I mean just look how happy Russell is to see us... that's great customer service right there.

 

The man of the hour Richard H. This guy can sell a deaf man head phones, if you know what I mean. A great guy that holds down the fort at UpRev

You see with all the business UpRev has been getting lately, they had to acquire a bigger facility to accommodate all the extra work.. Like SPL Parts track car.

Or this sick GTR that Russell is working on improving its down pipes and exhaust.

Now the main reason we were heading to UpRev was to check on Eric's 350z.

Russell is redoing all Eric's turbo piping and lines. Why you ask? Let me show you why.

During a late night trip home from work, Eric decided to stay in the lane where a massive bump was. And if you don't know Eric already, he is slammed to the ground. Due to this Eric hit this massive bump going God knows how fast and busted his radiator and some pipe damage occurred you might say...

We also came to find out during one of UpRev's dyno days, that Eric had a cracked wastegate. Also due to him being so slammed to the ground and hitting everything insight.

Lets take a closer look on what's to come.

I for one did not know how talented Russell was at welding. Here he shows Eric some of his work.

And like I mentioned before, he is working on that GTR and just look how pretty this down pipe is turning out.. Rainbow welds baby!!

Now if you don't know of Russell Walker you better hit up YouTube. This man can drift his ass off. He is building a new drift machine as we speak.

A closer look at the new toy Russell has been working on. Rear-wheel drive Subaru that should be touching 400+hp..

This is his new daily ride to fight the high gas prices..

As we where leaving Richard was telling me that SPL Parts are moving in straight across from them. Pretty sick..
