This event is going to be one to remember for sure.. A three day event that includes drifting, car show and anime show.. For IR2010, our special guest is ‘Smoky’ Nagata, owner and founder of Top Secret (For those who dont know who he is, go on youtube and type his name. or you can read his bio here )

Not only is the legendary Smoky coming to Import Reactor to host a Q & A panel and autograph session, he will tune 20 Nissans with his new program called Top Secret PROcess. This tune is almost unbelievable. The maps add power, alter the response and other parameters and change the driving experience of the car dramatically, on the stock ECU.

We chose to collaborate with a local shop called Secret Services Auto on this given their great equipment, awd dyno(for the GTR), professionalism and constant participation in community events. This three day event will be at their facility from March 29 – March 31, 2010.

Although the days of March 29 and 30 are closed to the general public(open only to a selected few), we welcome everyone to come out and witness Smoky tune cars on March 31st starting at 3pm to Midnight. This is a free event to watch.

The only cars he will be working on at this event are 350z/G35, 370z/G37 and GTR’s. Currently, out of 20 spots, 15 are gone. Owners of the above cars are welcome to sign up if there are spots left by the time this announcement hits the internet. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and we’re picky about what cars we put on the list. Each car has to be approved by IR. For info on this email john(at)emotiongear(dot)com.

This event is a mix of Planet Zero, Mayday Group and Aaron Losey, with a hint of high speed, high cash payout and Vaughn Gittin JR. These ingredients will be carefully presented to everyone.....at night.

This also serves as a vehicle for collaboration of show crews and competing drifters. Each team registered for Import Reactor has been presented with the opportunity to sponsor the drivers of IR Drift.  If sponsored, the driver runs the team logo and represents that team in battle.

The competition will be fierce. The drivers are competing for $3000 is cash prizes, fame, being heroes in all the media outlets and bringing pride to the show crews that sponsored them.

The roster of drivers has been finalized, and MaydayGarage will be releasing the driver profiles in the coming days.
